• This charger is specially designed to charge Substation batteries
• Charger is used to charge lead acid batteries
• In this charger there are two separate mode Float & Boost

Boost Mode:

• On Boost mode the battery is charged quickly (IE. Constant Current) by giving 2.5 V /Cell with rated current limit
• As the battery voltage comes to 2.5 V charging current drops gradually

Float Mode:

• On this mode the batteries are being charged at 2.25 V/Cell With rated current limit
• In this mode batteries are maintained at charged voltage

Auto Mode:

• In this mode, charger will decide to keep either Float or Boost mode depending on the battery condition
• If battery is discharged condition it goes in Boost mode and as the charging current drops below 10% of max current it change over to float mode and maintain the battery at float voltage IE 2.25 V/cell
